The Welser FPÖ wants all of the city’s income from the award to be used for socially needy people in Wels. “We will submit a proposal to the next local council,” announces Vice Mayor Christa Raggl-Mühlberger. Increasing funds for general social assistance measures through the proceeds is a good way to provide targeted support to Wels residents in need.
Up to now, the collection of old clothes in Wels has been carried out by various companies such as Volkshilfe, but also by Tex Aid and private associations. For some providers, profits flow back into social projects.
