UzCombinator Startups Secure Over $3 Million in Venture Funding

Young entrepreneurs in Uzbekistan have secured more than $3 million in cumulative venture funding across two seasons of the government-backed UzCombinator acceleration program, according to official data released ahead of the third-season application deadline on November 10.

Startups Secured over $3 Million Across Two Cycles

  • Total Capital Raised: Participating early-stage startups secured a combined total exceeding $3 million across two operational cycles.
  • Growth Trajectory: Average funding per cohort expanded significantly, with season two outperforming season one by a factor of 2.2.
  • Deadline Pressure: Applications for the third cohort of the 45-day accelerator close on November 10, offering selected founders workspaces, stipends, and mentor access.

Selected Startups Raised Increasing Capital Through the 45-Day Program

The 45-day program structures its curriculum around mentorship, product refinement, and direct investor pitches on Demo Day. Out of 5,036 total applications submitted across both cycles, organizers selected 55 startups to participate.

In the inaugural season, participating ventures collectively raised $960,000. Season two recorded a marked expansion, with 17 startups securing a combined $2.155 million—representing a 2.2-fold capital increase between cycles.

Seventeen Teams Secured Capital During the Second Season Demo Day

Out of 23 teams that pitched during the second season Demo Day, 17 successfully secured institutional or angel capital. This conversion rate equates to 74% of presenting founders leaving the event with committed financing.

Individual allocations averaged $127,000 per funded startup. Standout recipients include Core AI, founded by Sanzharbek Rakhmonov, which secured $800,000, and Yurideks, led by Zilolakhon Yuldosheva, which obtained $250,000.

Occlum founder Abdulloh Masaidov raised $40,000 and subsequently established an operational office in the United States.
