The Minister of Public Health, Dr. Alejandra Venerando, received the special visit. It is about a meeting with two young people from San Juan who are medical students, both at the National University of Córdoba.
They are Tomás Madrid Fernández and Agustín Pérez Maturano, whowho placed second and fifth, respectively, in the 29th edition of theNational Academic Olympiad for Medical Students. This is the contest is organized by the Faculty of Medical Sciences of the National University of Córdoba and was held last weekend in La Falda.
Fernández and Maturano participated along with hundreds of students who have the best averages from seven universities. Both students greeted and told the Minister about their experience. According to what they said, they they had to take an exam with 100 questions on knowledge acquired in the Basic Cycle of the Medicine careerincluding general knowledge questions and questions in English.
The minister thanked the visit, and pointed out that she was very proud that there are San Juan residents who stand out in terms of health, and in this case, she highlighted the great merit of obtaining the distinction, which will significantly result in the quality of the two future professionals.
