Hard to believe that the Vespa 946 was presented ten years ago. It might still be at a trade show today and you’d think it was a brand new study. Since the introduction of the unique special model, it has appeared in various versions, most recently in a somewhat idiosyncratic design by fashion czar Christian Dior, which will probably only appeal to elegantly dressed Milanese or will serve as a decorative object in elegantly furnished fashion shops.
The model presented on January 22nd at the beginning of the “Year of the Rabbit”, which stands for peace, luck and respect in the lunar calendar, looks much more pleasing, but also stands out with an unusual color scheme and a few funny graphics on the front and rear. This special green is a reinterpretation of the classic Vespa green. The black saddle is hand-stitched, as are the faux leather-covered handles.
