When we started to invest more seriously in equipment for the our YouTube channelone of our first purchases was a headlight (key light) quality — and for that, we chose the Aputure LS C120d II.
More recently, we made a massive upgrade to LS 600dand now the Aputure got in touch with us so that we could learn about two innovations from one of its sub-brands: the amaran 150c it’s at PT4c warning (besides the Light Dome SEalso).
The amaran 150c is an LED light point-source 150W, full RGB (plus CCT from 2,500K to 7,500K) and with built-in Bowens support. Amaran PT4c is a 1.22m long tube light, also RGB (plus CCT from 2,700K to an incredible 10,000K) and an internal 77Wh battery that can work for up to 170 minutes uninterrupted and be recharged via USB-C .
The coolest thing is that both lights, as well as the 600d, can be remotely controlled by the same iPhone app — the Sidus Link. We show everything in detail, in practice, in the video above. Do not lose! ????
