Olympic medalist Kim Glass suffered horrific facial injuries following a homeless man threw a metal pipe at her in Los Angeles, in what was described as a foolish indiscriminate attack.
Glas, 37, went to social media following the attack to show her injuries, including fractures and visible swelling in her right eye, almost completely, and a large wound on the bridge of her nose.
Glass said on Instagram, that she was having lunch with a friend and the man approached her as she was leaving, and it was random, and it seemed like she was in the wrong place at the wrong time.
