A resident of Florennes has been in preventive detention for almost a year, suspected of having organized cocaine trafficking, between April 1, 2021 and April 25, 2022. His judicial past does not plead in his favor. The defendant is particularly well known to the courts.

The lady who discovers it brings it back to the police who find there… a counterfeit note. While most cases of this type relate to the distribution of counterfeit money, this one also relates to imports. This was followed by the resale of the counterfeit tickets, which were then sold off.

The defendant, Ghislain E., founded the company QI in October 2017, promising individuals wishing to invest in cryptocurrency returns of between 50 and 80% within six months, without risk taking. The 27 civil parties have invested nearly 3,970,000 euros via 45 contracts, amounts which have not been returned in full. Returns have not been paid.
On March 1, the defendant’s counsel had indicated his intention not to attend the hearing, following the “divergent and unclear speeches” of his client, who was therefore sentenced in absentia, himself being at the MAURITIUS ISLAND.
