VIRGINIA – Virginia’s State Tax Holiday for certain hurricane and emergency preparedness items is taking place this weekend, October 2oth through 22nd.
Numerous hurricane preparedness items are included in the tax exemption, including batteries, battery operated or self-powered light sources and radios, first aid kits, carbon monoxide detectors, and more. Additionally, chain saws and chain saw accessories are exempt if they meet certain requirements.
