What did the inauguration of the Badajoz central building this year mean to you and the city? Has it become a symbol?

For us, it has been a turning point in the history of the company, coinciding with the process of consolidating the new identity. From our point of view, the innovation of its avant-garde design makes it a central component accessible to citizens, providing a fundamental structure to the city of Badajoz to generate work, coexistence and neighborhood spaces.

What characteristics make it a unique building?

The Vítaly complex stands out for aligning with the company’s philosophy focused on people’s health and well-being. Designed to house more than 400 employees, it not only represents energy efficiency and environmental sustainability, but also a conscious business approach, driving digital capabilities and adapting to new realities with innovation and artificial intelligence. In summary, Vítaly integrates these values ​​and technologies in a cohesive way in a space that goes beyond efficiency.

Is the merger between Grupo Preving (of Extremaduran origin and with more than 25 years of experience) and Cualtis completely finalized? Are there still some aspects to improve in the resulting group?

The merger between two of the most prominent entities in the sector is a complex process that cannot be resolved in a short period of time. We have implemented the new image in the company and the company name change has recently occurred. We remain immersed in the process, completing each of the phases outlined at the beginning of the integration. Continuous improvement is one of the fundamental principles of our company, which means that there will always be aspects that we must address. The result is and will be an improvement in our capabilities and new services and advantages for our clients.

How do you run an international and national company from Badajoz?

The company’s strong commitment to digitalization has allowed us to effectively manage a multitude of processes that were not very viable at the beginning. But without a doubt, the continuous, fluid and transparent communication between the different headquarters and their teams, and of course, the kilometers traveled to complete this coordination, has been a fundamental point to dissolve geographical barriers and collaborate following the same line of action.

The company has more than 130,000 clients and 2.5 million protected workers, providing qualified employment to 4,000 workers. What is the secret to being able to manage these dimensions?

There are not many secrets, but there are some fundamental ingredients that must be present, such as effort, dedication and organization, as well as the ability to anticipate. Our people are the company’s main asset and the secret of its success. And when you trust your team, the numbers come out on their own and managing these dimensions is no problem. For this reason, we cultivate a work environment in which each individual feels valued and an integral part of our mission.

They have acquired Previnsur (Cádiz), Maype, Salud Laboral (Galicia) this year. What are the next companies that will become part of Vitaly?

During these 25 years of experience, we have maintained a constant commitment to growth and expansion. Each incorporation, and more than 70 have already been made, contributes and means a lot to our company, and allows us to reach new horizons in the provision of services and attention to our clients. Soon, we will announce new agreements that we are working on but, for now, and for reasons of privacy and business confidentiality, we cannot reveal more details.

Recently, you have launched the new corporate identity, which is consolidated with the ‘Vítaly’ brand and the new joint corporate name ‘Vitaly Health Services’, which unifies the previous ones from September 22, 2023. What are your objectives with this new image?

The objective of this new identity is to highlight the company’s focus: the health and well-being of workers with the launch of new innovative services oriented towards this objective. New spaces that open the way to a healthy, active and productive life through a balanced diet in our ‘Vital Coffee’, a little exercise in our ‘SPZ Vitalclub training’ gym and paddle tennis court, and a pleasant atmosphere to clear the mind. mind. In the digital part, the launch of a new health ecosystem will allow comprehensive and continuous management of people’s health.

How do Andrés López, Jesús Nieto and José Rey work together?

We have a strong friendship from the beginning. This fact has allowed us to develop an optimal and fluid work and collaboration environment that has had a positive impact on the different stages of the company’s development. We have also learned to enjoy moments together, including those at work.

Are you hoping to be an Extreme Businessman from Badajoz?

For us it has been a great honor to receive this distinction because recognition in your own land is always a source of pride. It helps us to continue improving ourselves every day and highlights the effort and work done to date. No, we did not expect it, since in Extremadura there are more and more businessmen and women who provide high added value to their companies and, therefore, the competition for the award was very high.

What are the company’s next objectives going to be?

Over the next few years we will focus on continuing our national and international expansion, consolidating our philosophy of well-being and health both in the work and personal environment through new services such as the Health Ecosystem, which you will hear about shortly.
