2024-09-02 11:21:00

A Vivo got a license to act as credit fintech through its indirect parent company, VIVO Pay Sociedade de Crédito Direto SA (SCD). The Central Bank authorized the operator to work in this way and this means that the company will have more flexibility to develop new services.

Leandro Coelho is the company’s director and commented on the news:

This is a natural evolution of Vivo’s journey in the financial services vertical. Since 2020, we have been offering the first financial products, using the potential of the Vivo ecosystem. Combining our breadth of channels, the power of the brand and our high data processing capacity with one of the largest data lakes in Brazil, we have proven several services throughout this journey and the license with the Central Bank confirms the relevance that Vivo dedicates to its digital ecosystem.
