Switzerland started their campaign in the preliminary round of the European Championship on the wrong foot. The formation of Lauren Bertolacci lost 3-0 in Greece against, it is true, the favorite of the group.
To qualify for the final phase of Euro 2023 organized by Germany, Belgium, Estonia and Italy, the Swiss women must take one of the first 2 places in their group. If Greece confirms its rank, they must therefore overtake Bosnia-Herzegovina and Norway. Wednesday’s meeting in Schönenwerd against the Scandinavians is therefore very important.
