[Media Today/reported by reporter Li Zudong]The 2024 International Free Cycle Road Race around Taiwan started on March 10 and will tour to the last stop in Kaohsiung City on March 14. It will start from the Buddha Memorial Hall (starting point) and end at Kaohsiung National The stadium, with a total length of approximately 147 kilometers, will bring top players from all over the world to Kaohsiung and will also increase Kaohsiung’s international visibility.

Gao City police are responsible for traffic control, team guidance and player safety throughout the event. They also mobilized more than 200 volunteer volunteers to work together to ensure the success of the international-level event. This time, the traffic control adopts a “rolling and progressive approach”. On the eve of the arrival of the free car team, the leading car will prompt the intersection police and volunteers to conduct traffic control first. The control time is therefore reduced to 10 to 15 minutes, which not only protects the smooth flow and safety of the competition team, but also ensures the safety of the competition team. It also takes into account the convenience of passers-by and reduces waiting time for control.

Traffic Brigade Captain Huang Yuanmin appeals to passers-by to avoid rush hour traffic and control periods, and use surrounding alternative roads to avoid wasting your precious time. If you still need to drive the above roads during the control hours, please cooperate with the on-site police on free traffic command.
