Vienna (OTS) – “With the death of Minister for Women Marilies Flemming, the Viennese are losing a pioneer of women’s politics in Vienna and in Austria. Even if, as she herself said, she was “initially notorious for being emancipated”, she was always able to assert herself with her energetic and always cheerful manner and to this day serves as a role model for many politicians in the People’s Party. My thoughts are with her family in these difficult hours,” said the chairwoman of the Viennese women, municipal councilor Sabine Keri.
