Vienna (OTS) – Today’s ORF ZiB1 report discusses the use of Austrian soldiers in the war zone of Ukraine to support mine clearance. Since the ORF only offers the widest scope of its contribution for contra-opinions, the support should also be expressed clearly: “Defense Minister Klaudia Tanner’s decision not to send any soldiers to Ukraine is absolutely correct and necessary. Anything else would be incompatible with our neutrality. On the contrary: anyone who supports such a suicide mission endangers our soldiers and also Austria,” said the state party chairman, City Councilor Karl Mahrer, in a first reaction.
