War Thunder was bombarded overnight with a huge number of negative reviews that lowered the game’s rating to the red zone on Steam
Shareware War Thunder has raised questions in the past due to its monetization system, but a recent update has crossed the line. The community went berserk and started bombarding the game on Steam with negative reviews. The fact is that the new system involved even more grinding for those who do not invest real money in the game.
War Thunder’s latest reviews are now mostly negative, 74% negative (almost 26,000 in total).
The anger of the War Thunder community turned out to be so effective that Gaijin Entertainment rolled back changes.
Also, the developers carefully asked stop bombarding War Thunder with negative reviews on Steam, and use other sites:
«Of course, review on Steam is also a platform for expressing opinions. However, most new players just look at the rating, and do not read the texts of the reviews at all and do not delve into the reason for which they were left. Some fans considerthat on the forum the developers of War Thunder will tritely delete “incorrect” messages, but they have no power over Steam reviews.
Before May 25, War Thunder developers are collecting wishes from players Here. In the plans release a special upgrade of the economy in the second half of the summer.
