The Honduran Minister of Security, Ramón Sabillón, who led the arrest of Juan Orlando Hernández, describes the former president’s networks as an “organized crime superstructure”, which would also have already been dominating public institutions. Hernández has publicly denied the accusations that link him to drug trafficking crimes in numerous accusations.
