Watch.. A consultant cardiologist reveals the reason for the large number of “arterial tortuosity” syndrome in the Kingdom

Al-Marsad Newspaper: Consultant Cardiologist, Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Khalidi, revealed the cause of the high incidence of arterial tortuosity syndrome in the Kingdom.

Al-Khalidi said, during an interview with the “Ya Hala” program: “The disease of arterial tortuosity syndrome is widespread in the Kingdom due to intermarriage from the same tribe,” noting: “We discovered the first case of arterial tortuosity syndrome 16 years ago, and there was an accurate description of it in scientific research, but No one but her has a cure or intervention.”

He pointed out, “The first case was incurable and the girl was in a bad situation. We successfully operated on her, and following 5 years we were able to perform 7 operations, and now we have reached 37 cases.”
