Al-Marsad Newspaper: FIFA President Gianni Infantino answered the possibility of the Kingdom hosting the 2030 World Cup.
“The decision on the World Cup will be taken by the FIFA Council in 2024,” the FIFA president said, regarding hosting the next World Cup in the Kingdom in partnership with Egypt and Greece.
He added, during his hosting of the “Al-Kass TV Council” programme, that I hope there will be many candidates.
The FIFA President did not rule out the return of the World Cup to the Middle East, stressing that the last edition of the World Cup in Qatar was very successful, saying, people enjoyed it and the Middle East a lot, and I am confident that everyone will be happy to return here.
