Al-Marsad newspaper: The heir to the British throne, Prince Charles, affirmed his solidarity with the Ukrainian people against the Russian invasion, which he described as “brute aggression.”
“What we have seen in Ukraine is an attack on democracy, open society and freedom itself,” the 73-year-old said. “These same values are under attack today in Ukraine in the most unconscionable way, and we are in solidarity with all those who are resisting brutal aggression.”
This came during Prince Charles’ speech in commemoration of British MP David Amis, who was killed last year in October 2021.
