Who here had two, three or more dials preferred not Apple Watch and loved switching between them just by sliding your finger sideways on the screen, but when you updated your watch to watchOS 10, were you extremely dissatisfied to discover that Apple simply removed this option from the new system? Did you identify? Then I have good news!
The newest trial version of watchOS 10.2 (released this week) brought this option back, to the general joy of the nation! ????
watchOS 10.2 beta 3 adds back the feature that lets you swipe between watch faces!
This feature was removed in watchOS 10.0.
Apparently, Apple removed this option in watchOS 10 as some users complained about accidentally changing the watch face. The solution found by the company was, then, to force the person to touch the screen for a few seconds, in order to open the display editing option and, then, swipe sideways to change the display.
The complaints about the removal of this gesture, however, must have been great, since in the future version of the system, Apple will allow activating this option in the watch’s settings, going to Settings » Clock. When activating it, you will once again be able to swipe between all your dials, in order to choose the one that best matches/fits you at a given moment — I, for example, use one dial during the day, another when I am going to do some physical activity and a third when I’m traveling.
