It is the latest of the French quantum start-ups. Created in early 2022 at the Kastler Brossel (LKB) laboratory, Welinq has made its nest. Hosted on the Pierre and Marie Curie campus of Sorbonne University in Paris, the company has secured funding of 5 million euros, employs six people and wants to double its workforce by the end of the year. The nugget has already made a name for itself in the small environment. His solution should make it possible to connect several computers by exchanging qubits without altering their quantum state. An immense promise: connecting computers in this way should make it possible to aggregate their resources.
