The file of renewing the contract of South African coach Pitso Mosimane with Al-Ahly remains the most prominent issue in the Red Castle during the current period, with a few months remaining until the end of his current contract.

Egyptian press sources confirmed that Musimani will sign a two-year contract, with a clause entitlement to renew for a third season if both parties agree.
But there were different rumors about the financial compensation, as according to the website “Ve Joule”, Betso will receive 165,000 dollars per month, with other clauses in the contract related to bonuses if a certain number of victories are achieved in consecutive matches and if championships are obtained.
As for the “Yalla Kora” website, it stated that the South African coach will receive 185,000 dollars, along with the performance planner and the load coach, with a penalty clause of three months in the event of contract termination.
