The Easter basket that we take to be blessed on Holy Saturday is always elaborately decorated. It is important that it contains everything that tradition requires. So there is salt and pepper, bread, meat and egg. There must also be a lamb. All these foods are a symbol of abundance for the next year.
This basket may look slightly different in different regions of the country. However, in each of them there will be an egg, as a sign of reborn life. So what should we put in a wicker basket? This knowledge was shared by children from Municipal Kindergarten No. 6 in Żagań. Six-year-olds say that they can’t decorate without a box tree. – Colorful Easter eggs are also important.
