Alta Gracia once again lived a rugby party. For the third time, the second in a row, the venue of the club of the same name hosted a final series (the last chapter still remains, which will be played on Saturday the 12th) and year after year the proposal comes in an improved version.

From early on, the Alta Gracia RC facilities were filled with thousands of people who came to encourage “the club”. Each one with the colors of their passion, each one dressed in the suit that best suits the occasion.

Although it is true that the public rotated between one semifinal and the other, some five thousand people gathered to witness one or the decisive matches.

The “earliest risers” arrived at least two hours before the first semifinal and dyed every corner of Alta Gracia RC red and white or red and black.

Then the replacement arrived and the tonalities changed. The blue of Urú Curé covered a good sector of the stands and the tricolor (white, black and red), another. And even the seller of piluses and flags from San Martín took advantage of the opportunity. As it would not if “SanMa” wrote a historic page for the club by reaching the Top 10 semifinals for the first time since it was played under this new format.

The most seasoned dared to paint their hair half one color and half another; the most timid, gave a different “tone” to their faces. But there were also those who, mate equipment in hand, chose to encourage from a position that allowed them to enjoy the sun and some “greens” with the family. They all came together under the same flag: that of the club that brings them together weekend after weekend.

Some arrived with food prepared, others took advantage of the food court and enjoyed a hamburger, some French fries, some pastafrola for the mate, an ice cream or an inevitable spirit drink. Each one in their own way, but all with a single premise: to accompany and support their players, the staff of the top team, who work every day so that the sport continues to grow and bring joy to its members.

Alta Gracia RC prepared for the final series to be experienced as a true party, it prepared its community so that, once again, it would rise to the occasion and its boys proudly wore the colors of the club assuming the role they played .

There is still one chapter left, that of Saturday, August 12, when Córdoba Athletic and Urú Curé from Río Cuarto reissue the 2019 final (which was also played on the same stage), and Jockey CC and San Martín from Villa María do it for the Third place. Once again the colors will paint the venue and the rags will wave as they did yesterday, because the love for the club continues to be unconditional.
