To prevent crimes in critical areas of Neuquén, such as ATM area and the downtown area, the province will deepen security through the division «Police Security and Banking Operations. This system consists of strengthening urban patrol and more preventive measures.
The division will have a functional plant composed of 18 police officers: officers, chiefs and 16 conventional personnel including junior officers, non-commissioned officers and agents. The Police unit facilities will operate in the Rincón de Emilio neighborhoodin Atlantis and the Caspian Sea.
The Banking Security and Operations Division will be responsible for managing, monitor the installation and maintenance of security systems and respond to incidents.
The operational group of this division will be composed of 10 patrol cars that will act as logistical support to the banking security service, mainly during business hours, in the eastern part of the city (1st and 2nd Commissioner), and West Zone (Commissioner 3rd, 12th, 16th and 21st), which are the sectors with the greatest location of financial institutions. When the entities close, they will focus on providing security at the different ATMs in the city.
