To delete WhatsApp states you must go to the same app.
There go to the States tab.
At that moment you only have to click on the states of your friends.
After two seconds you will be shown a mute tab.
Silence all the statuses that are shown to you in WhatsApp.
That way you will never see the statuses of that certain person again.
Remember that if you want to stop this method, a “Muted” tab will be enabled.
You just have to free the person whose status you want to see again.
