Meta, the company behind the development of WhatsApp, share all changes coming to the app to the beta servers for extensive testing. There, we have seen how the reactions via emojis evolved and all the changes that have come to the groups.
Recently, they have set their sights on the states. Like other social networks of the company, such as Facebook or Instagram, WhatsApp also has statuses that everyone can share.
The video format is vertical and they have a somewhat short duration. The strange thing is that they have always been found in the background in this communication application: you will find them in a tab.
For example, if you want to enter statuses on iOS mobile, you’ll need to hit the tab at the bottom. There, all the contacts who have shared statuses will appear and the list will be cleared once the time has expired.

The WaBetainfo medium shared new screenshots of the change they have introduced in the beta. As you can see in the following screenshot, it is only necessary to press the contact’s profile photo, which is marked by an outer circle that indicates that a status has been uploaded.
