Al-Marsad newspaper: The head of the Public Transport Authority, Rumaih Al-Rumaih, responded to a question regarding the possibility of establishing an express train linking the eastern region with Riyadh.
He said during a program in public, on the Saudization channel, that the idea exists to study it, as well as its strategy, and we are continuing the study of the subject in order to be presented to the private sector.
He added that the project is very important and its length is appropriate, as it resembles the Haramain train project in distance and connects cities with it.
He stressed that the subject is not just an idea, but that there are current studies on it.
