This is where young love moves in.

“Gen Z” is currently doing something that runs counter to the thesis of commitment-phobic youth. She moves in together. But sharing an apartment is a stress test for every relationship – especially for young couples.

Ein Prejudice about Generation Z is: This youngest group of us adults, between 18 and late 20, doesn’t think much of commitment. Just don’t decide too early on a partner, for example, and especially don’t rush into anything when it comes to firmly linking your own life with that of the other person. Maybe something better is coming around the block. A quick jump only works without ballast.

But there is a problem, as is so often the case with such external attributions. Because “Gen Z” is currently doing something that runs counter to the thesis of commitment-phobic youth. She moves in together. Signs rental agreements with ink and pen. With her partner. And more often than usual. What drives them into shared walls? What do you expect from this step? And can that work?
