“As the vacation is coming up soon, I might allow myself to spend extra and buy something if I’m tempted,” the man mentioned.

If the entire amount is not spent, and perhaps there is no desire to spend heavily, Rytis plans to invest part of the money.

“I will break down my small investments that I make every month,” said the man from Vilnius.

Financial expert Ekaterina Govina mentioned that the overpayments received from VMI can disappear really quickly, because “the money falling into the current account simply gets mixed up in it and is spent”. Therefore, choosing to invest all or at least part of the overpayment received from VMI is a welcome decision.

Of course, if a person is struggling in life, I don’t know if investing is the best solution and if it will help him in any way. But some can really start investing, even from a small amount, using VMI overpayments for this,” – 15min J. Govina mentioned.
