A Microsoft released this Friday (26) another build for the operating system Windows 11. The new compilation 26040 was made available to I testersnsider Canary Chanel with some new features for the software.
Among the new features of the new version is support for transfer rates of 80 Gbps via USB, now added in Insider Canary Chanel, as well as a Android image access feature, which were included in previous Beta and Dev builds.
As already mentioned, the update added a notification that informs the user instantly on the PC whenever a new photo or screenshot is taken on a mobile device Android connected. This feature arrived a few days ago on the Dev Channel.
Additionally, Microsoft has also updated the initial Windows installation setup experience. Now, both options for installing the operating system or repairing your PC are positioned towards the center of the screen.
The update also introduced a new automatic account management feature. Additionally, WordPad was removed when the user did a clean install and is now also removed when updating from this build.
There has also been a change where the Copilot icon is shown on the right side of the system tray in the taskbar to make the assistant entry point clearer and more easily accessible for operating system users.
