‘Witch 2’ Cynthia[사진=NEW]
On May 24, the production report for the movie ‘Witch 2’ was held online. The press conference was attended by director Park Hoon-jung and actors Cynthia, Park Eun-bin, Seo Eun-soo, Jin-goo, Sung Yu-bin, and Jo Min-soo.
The movie ‘Witch 2’ depicts what happens when forces chasing her for different purposes gather in front of a ‘girl’ who survives alone in a devastated secret laboratory and comes out of the world. It is the sequel to the ‘Witch’ series that brought actress Da-mi Kim to stardom. The Witch was released in June 2018 and was a successful box office hit with 3.18 million viewers.
In the play, Cynthia takes on the role of a ‘girl’ who wakes up from the secret lab ‘Ark’ and comes out of the world. He, who overcame the high competition of 1408:1 and took on the role of ‘girl’ through the 3rd audition, confessed, “When I first heard the news, I was unbelievable and bewildered.”
He said, “It seems to be real now. I’m really happy and honored to be able to appear in the ‘Witch’ series.”
Director Park Hoon-jung said, “I cast it because it suited the character of ‘Girl’ the best.”
Meanwhile, ‘The New World’ and ‘Night in Paradise’ Park Hoon-jung’s new movie ‘The Witch 2’ will be released in theaters on June 15th.
