A little more than six months had to pass for Ñublense to once again celebrate a victory at home in the Official Primera A Tournament.

Last night they ended a negative streak that seemed to be prolonged, after beating the bottom of the competition, Deportes Copiapó, 1-0, with a solitary goal from the Argentine midfielder, Gabriel Graciani at 48′ of the second half.

The last time that Rojo had won at the Nelson Oyarzún stadium was on September 3, 2023.

After the home defeat against Audax Italiano, the alarms went off, so Mario Salas modified the system and now included Graciani from the start.

And it worked. Although the team, from the expected intensity, dynamics and mobility, has not yet reached its best version, this time, it was able to overcome the expulsion of the scorer Patricio Rubio, who in the 40th minute went to the showers after a double yellow.
