The Shebin El-Kom Mental Health Hospital in Menoufia Governorate organized its celebration of World Mental Health Day, which was organized due to the great efforts the hospital has achieved in this field.
The ceremony was attended by Moataz Hegazy, the official spokesman for Menoufia Governorate, the directors of the Mit Khalaf Complex hospitals, the representatives of the Health Affairs Directorate, Dr. Sherine Massad, Director of the Free Treatment Department in the Health Directorate, and Dr. Hanaa Sorour, a member of the House of Representatives, under the sponsorship and supervision of Dr. Doaa Samir Mutawa, Director of the Hospital, and Dr. Zainab Rushdi Gouda. Deputy Director of the Hospital, and a number of honored hospital employees arrived.
Moataz Hegazy, the official spokesman for Menoufia Governorate, confirmed that what the Shebin El-Kom Mental Health Hospital is doing is a great effort to preserve patients, pointing out that work is underway to develop and strengthen these services better during the coming period.
Dr. Hanaa Sorour, a member of the House of Representatives, added that a number of colleges have applied to establish an advanced hospital in Mit Siraj in Menoufia, and the initial work to establish the hospital to serve a large sector of patients is being completed.
Dr. Sherine Massad, Director of the Free Treatment Department at the Health Directorate in Menoufia Governorate, explained that the hospital provides distinguished services and seeks during the coming period to provide more and more services through a strong team of workers in the medical system.
For her part, Dr. Duaa Duaa Samir Mutawa, director of the hospital, confirmed that the number of beds available in the hospital reaches 113 beds, pointing out that the number of daily visits to the hospital reaches 200 cases per day.
The hospital concluded the ceremony by honoring the cadres who participated in the process of progress and providing service to patients, whether from the medical team, nursing, workers or administrators, in light of gratitude for everyone’s efforts in advancing the hospital.
