His journey continues. The Czech Linda Fruhvirtova, 16 years old and 279th in the world, continues to cross the stages, during the WTA 1000 in Miami. She reached the round of 16 on Sunday after Victoria Azarenka left the court without waiting for the arrival of the physiotherapist she had just called.
The scene surprised everyone on the Grandstand: trailing 6-2, 3-0, the Belarusian, visibly very frustrated, spoke a few words to the referee, who then understood that she wanted to seek a physio.
