The show begins with commentators Kevin Patrick and Byron Saxton welcoming us to tonight’s edition of WWE Main Event from Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida. Then the first match of the evening begins.

1. Match
Singles Match
Akira Tozawa defeated Reggie via pin after a senton backsplash.
Match time: 06:11

The first recap of the night shows us the end of the Friday Night SmackDown clash between Angelo Dawkins and Jimmy Uso. Dawkins won the match even though Jimmy’s shoulders weren’t on the mat throughout. Jeff Jarrett will be the Special Guest Referee in the Tag Team Title Match between the Usos (Jey Uso & Jimmy Uso) and the Street Profits (Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins) at SummerSlam.

On the next episode of Friday Night SmackDown, Brock Lesnar will show up and we’ll get a Liv Morgan and Ronda Rousey face-off.

We see some hype videos for SummerSlam.

Let’s get to Monday Night RAW. Bianca Belair suffered a beatdown from Becky Lynch and Carmella. However, she won the next match for her RAW Women’s Championship against Carmella. Becky Lynch will probably be her next challenger.

Rey Mysterio will be honored for his 20th anniversary at the next edition of Monday Night RAW. Roman Reigns will also be featured.

2. Match
Tag Team Match
Alpha Academy (Chad Gable & Otis) defeated Mustafa Ali & Cedric Alexander via Otis pinning Mustafa Ali after the Alpha Bomb.
Match time: 08:49

Last Monday evening there was also the return of Logan Paul. After much back and forth, The Miz accepted his challenge for SummerSlam. After a little brawl, The Miz lands outside the ring and before Ciampa attacks, Paul successfully escapes.
