Whereas Diablo IV had been announced at Blizzcon 2019, the introductory cinematic with Lilith had won over many players. If we have development news on a quarterly basis, it seems that the developers have changed their plans somewhat.
The mention Xbox One disappears from the official site
In fact, the official website of Diablo IV updated with a size difference. As you can see in the screenshot below, older-gen console versions have completely disappeared from mentions of the game.
As Gotham Knights before him, it would seem that Diablo IV focuses on next-gen consoles. Blizzard developers will thus have chosen to remove previous versions following almost two years of life for these new consoles. It remains to be seen if this update of the official site is a sign of a presence in an upcoming conference, why not at the Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase which you can follow with us at the Grand Rex from 5:00 p.m.
