The announcement of the Xiaomi 12S family is expected tomorrow, July 4th. The lineup will include Xiaomi 12S, 12S Pro and the most anticipated Xiaomi 12S Ultra. The Chinese manufacturer decided to share information about the middle model in the line – Xiaomi 12S Pro. Like the older version with the Ultra index, the Xiaomi 12S Pro variant will receive the new Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor. Its performance is impressive: in the AnTuTu test, the smartphone has set a new record, scoring 1,113,135 points, according to Xiaomi. For comparison, in June rating the first place was taken by the gaming Black Shark 5 Pro with a score of 1,040,111 points.

The main camera of Xiaomi 12S Pro will receive a 50-megapixel Sony IMX 766 sensor. It will be complemented by a camera equipped with a telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom and a 50-megapixel sensor, as well as a 50-megapixel wide-angle camera with a 115 ° viewing angle. The camera package is identical to the Xiaomi 12 Pro model, but it is possible that Leica’s involvement will have some beneficial effect.

The Xiaomi 12S Pro will also feature a 6.73-inch QHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 1500cd/m². Finally, another advantage of the smartphone will be 120 W charging with two modes of operation: in the first, 100% of the battery capacity is covered in 19 minutes, in the second, in 25 minutes.
