You are supposed to prevent your comrades with poetry • Al-Marsad Newspaper

Al-Marsad newspaper: The former Kuwaiti MP, Walid Musaed Al-Tabtabaei, sparked controversy on social media, after he demanded that the Kuwaiti artist, Shams, be banned from entering the country and held accountable for her visit to Israel and Palestine.

Al-Tabtabaei wrote, through his Twitter account: “In an actress or singer named Shams, who visited the Zionist entity, and published pictures of her there, she must be held accountable or prevented from entering Kuwait.”

For her part, the Kuwaiti media, Fajr Al-Saeed, commented on Al-Tabtabaei’s tweet, saying: “Away from logic … that you are tweeting about the singer Shams, this is proof that you are forbidden to talk about politics these days, because the above thing is necessary.”

Fajr Al-Saeed added, “Bou Musaed, you don’t want to be held accountable, after the UAE and Bahrain, for normalizing relations with Israel and preventing their citizens from visiting Kuwait, so that we sit in Deira with our spirit, only you and us?”

And she continued, “Bou Musaed sees Shams as not Kuwaiti and is not subject to your law, and if you think about preventing her from entering Kuwait, you are supposed to prevent your companion Boushaar, who went to Israel before her.”

Earlier, the artist, Shams, arrived at Tel Aviv Airport, calling on her audience to support her morally for this visit, and indicated that she was heading to Palestine from Istanbul, to visit her for the first time.
