Last year, PlayStation and Discord have announced a partnership to bring the instant messaging application closer to the consoles. Now, their partnership has spawned a particularly useful feature for gamers. You can now link your PlayStation Network (PSN) account to Discord.

By linking your PSN account to Discord, you can share your PlayStation activity and PSN ID with the community. This feature is available on Windows, macOS, iOS, Linux and Android as well as on the Discord website. Incidentally, the messaging app has clarified that the feature is rolling out if you don’t have access to it yet.

To link your PSN account to Discord, launch the Discord app and go to user settings. Then select “Desktop or Web Connections”. If you are on mobile, choose “Connections” from the user settings.

The Discord Connections page displays the list of services with which you can connect your profile. So you will see the PlayStation logo in addition to those of Twitch, Steam, Facebook, Twitter, Reddit, Xbox, etc. Click on the PlayStation logo and a window will open asking you to sign in to your PSN account. Enter your login credentials and you have thus linked your PSN account to Discord.

Then you have two options. You can choose to show your PSN ID on your Discord profile and show your PlayStation Network activity on your status. Your friends can see the PS4 and PS5 games you play and reach you more easily.
