Young Boys Super League Victory: Bernese Dominate Stade Lausanne-Ouchy

2023-12-16 19:10:24

A diligent Young Boys ended the year on a good note in the Super League. The Bernese had no difficulty in taking the best 3-1 over the red lantern Stade Lausanne-Ouchy.

For 60 minutes, there was only one team on the difficult pitch of Pontaise. Already autumn champions, the players from the capital did not give details during a perfectly controlled first half. Lurking at the far post, Darian Males opened the scoring in the 10th minute.

Silvère Ganvoula (20th) and Males (36th) once more gave Young Boys a three-goal lead before the first break. The fall champion played a more restrained second period. The Stadistes then found a little space to carry out bloody counter-attacks.

On one of them, Ajdini panicked the Bernese defense before adjusting the post, but Gharbi followed perfectly. The player on loan from Paris St-Germain was able to score his second goal of the season (77th). Despite these attempts, the Vaudois remain more than ever stuck in last place.
