Yuhan Corporation announced on the 23rd that it participated in the ‘Turn off the lights and turn on the stars’ campaign to commemorate Energy Day on the 22nd.

Yuhan Corporation has been participating in the campaign every year. This year, it was expanded to all business sites, and the event to turn off lights was actively promoted to employees so that each family could participate. We plan to donate 100 solar lanterns produced by our employees together with their children to the Milal Welfare Foundation in August by conducting a solar lantern production service.

On this day, Yuhan Headquarters, as well as research institutes, factories, and branches nationwide, set the temperature of air conditioners to 26-28 degrees, the indoor health temperature, for one hour from 2 pm to 3 pm, and turned off the lights for 5 minutes from 9 pm. At the same time, the executives and staff also participated by turning off the lights in each home.

An official from Yuhan Corporation said, “This campaign provided an opportunity for the company and its employees to practice energy conservation and to think about climate change.
