Zapping TV launches its new Turbo function that reduces the delay in live broadcasts, ideal for soccer fans

We have excellent news, especially for football readers, since Zapping TV has released a new function that considerably reduces the delay in live broadcasts.

A problem that mainly affects streaming when transmitting live content is the delay (latency) that occurs due to the famous Buffera system that stores the content and later reproduces it.

This was born mainly for the slow internet networks we had before, thus the system prevented the reproduction from suffering cuts. It is the same when you are watching YouTube and you have a slow connection, the video will pause and you will have to wait for it to load a little more.

Unfortunately this feature affects content that is broadcast live, because you see the outdated content. For example, if you watch a soccer match and X player scores a goal, at home you will be watching that goal on 20 or even 30 seconds latersomething that the soccer world hates because the neighbor will shout the goal much sooner.

This is how the new “Turbo” mode of Zapping TV was born

The friends of Zapping TV released a new feature called Turbowhich is in beta for now, but it considerably reduces the delay produced when viewing live content, that is, the salvation of soccer fans.

What this new function does is decrease the size of the buffer and thus play the content almost on par with what is happening live. That is, if X player scores a goal, With this new function you will see the goal in 2 seconds later, being practically on a par with cable, satellite or air TVso you will no longer hear your neighbor shout the goal before.

Now, this requires yes or yes that have a very good internet speed, since if it is slow and unstable, you will suffer cuts constantly. At least I did the test with 700 Mbps fiber optics and it worked flawlessly, as you can see in the following video:

When will it be available?

At least for Apple TV, iOS, Android TV and Android, it is already available in their respective app stores. They just need to update to the latest version.

When they update, they must press the down button on their remote control and select the Turbo option located on the right of the screen.

In the case of wanting to activate it on your smartphone, you must open the app, select Settings (the nut) and activate the Turbo button.
