Diplomatic ties with Latin America and the Caribbean also reached a new milestone with Ambassador Alvarez Rodriguez stepping into her role. The Dominican Republic brings distinct economic leadership, particularly in tourism, where the Caribbean nation welcomed 11.6 million visitors in the prior year.
Ambassador Alvarez Rodriguez outlined specific cooperation targets, pointing to mining, women’s empowerment, agriculture, and tourism as vital avenues for mutual growth.
