Zug’s feat in ice hockey is unique but not uncommon

The stats said it was impossible, but EV Zug players didn’t know that, or had read Mark Twain. So they did. On Sunday evening, the Zugois won their third title of Swiss ice hockey champions (following 1998 and 2021), beating the Zurich Lions 3-1 in the seventh game and 4-3 in the final series, where they nevertheless had trailed 0-3.
