White House press secretary Jen Saki said that the contract to purchase test kits is in the final stages and that the website that will be used to request kits will be operational by the end of this month.
The U.S. government said last month that it plans to purchase 500 million self-diagnostic kits to respond to Omicron and provide them to its citizens free of charge.
