14 striking images of the D’Jazz Nevers Festival 2022

Four stages: the Salle Lauberty and the main hall of the Maison, the municipal theater and the Café Charbon. Twenty-seven concerts, for one week, and around 8,500 paying spectators, according to a first assessment drawn by the organization. The 36th edition of the D’Jazz Nevers Festival, which ended on Saturday November 12, generally kept its promises.

It showed the vitality and diversity of the French and international jazz scene. With luminaries, Dave Holland opening, Rhoda Scott closing or octogenarian French drummer Daniel Humair. But also more unusual and surprising shows, such as the crazy trio of Nout, which caused quite a stir, or the pretty voice/cello duo composed of Leïla Martial and Valentin Ceccaldi.

The musicians, and especially the musicians, more and more numerous in the programming, were in the spotlight of this edition. Back, in a few images, on a week of music and emotion.
