78 bankers receive ITB trophies after 2 years of training

Some 78 bankers received trophies on Wednesday from the Technical Institute of Banking (ITB), a higher banking school based in France after two years of training provided in Libreville by BGFI Business school (BBS), a local partner of the ITB.

A magnificent ceremony was organized at the BBS premises to honor the 78 recipients from the 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023 classes.

The ceremony was chaired by Henri Claude Oyima, chairman of the Board of Directors of BBS, also president of the Federation of Gabon Companies (FEG).

Some graduates received their trophy from the hands of Laetitia Tartour, representative of the Ecole Supérieure de Banque (ESB) based in France.

Thanks to this training, Ms. Tartour hoped that the now new Gabonese graduates of the ITB will “ embrace the future with confidence ».

Pamphile Mezui Mbeng, Managing Director of BBS maintained that it was both “ great pride ” and one ” honor » for its establishment of “ celebrate the presentation of trophies to the 78 ITB graduates », all trained in banking management.

For 2 years, former students, many of whom were on work-study programs, were trained in human or people management in a bank. The training prepares executives to become managers.

The trainers offered the now former students the necessary tools to better practice in the banking sector, become committed and competent executives in order to support the growth of the country’s economy and offer better support to customers.

« Learning is a continuous journey. Be open to changes, be open to new technologies », advised Henri Claude Oyima, addressing the recipients, some of whom work at the Bank of Central African States (BEAC).

« Your success will depend on your impact on your businesses, your customers and those around you. », at-il having you.

The training costs of the majority of students were covered by their company. An internal mechanism allows BBS students to follow the training without major costs, according to a source close to the establishment.
