Al-Marsad newspaper: Social media pioneers circulated a picture of the accused of slaughtering a merchant during Friday prayers in the village of Mit Sudan, in the Dikirnis Center in Dakahlia Governorate in Egypt.
The picture showed the accused after the worshipers handcuffed him inside the mosque, after carrying out the crime.
An eyewitness said that the killer performed ablution in the mosque, then entered the prayer niche and prayed two units of prayer behind the dead man, then approached him and two minutes before the end of the sermon, he slaughtered the victim with a knife. According to Al-Wafd newspaper.
Eyewitnesses added that one of the worshipers worked as a barber, “and managed to hold the killer’s hand after the victim was stabbed, and had it not been for his holding his hand, the victim’s head would have been separated from his body.”
