The Pacific Fleet (Pacific Fleet) of Russia is currently on full alert. This was reported to the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin by Defense Minister General of the Army Sergei Shoigu, the Kremlin website reports.
The Minister of Defense reported to the Supreme Commander of the RF Armed Forces that 167 ships, including 12 submarines, 89 aircraft and helicopters, as well as more than 25,000 servicemen, will be involved in the exercises of the Pacific Fleet.
The forces and troops participating in the verification are on full combat readiness, with the established restrictions, they began to carry out combat training tasks.

Under such conditions, the Russian armed forces, of which the Pacific Fleet is an important part, must be ready for any development of events. The Asia-Pacific region is also a zone of increased risk due to the relevant US policy, the events around Taiwan, the North Korean missile launches and the reaction to them from Washington’s regional satellites.
